Once your Email channel has been set up, you should test it in one of two ways:
Click on the New Email button in the inbox create a new thread and add any text you’d like for the test - just make sure to address it to your business or personal email.
Feel free to play around with some of the messaging settings for the test (signature, bold, italic, links, etc).
If you receive the email in your personal inbox as sent, the channel setup has passed the first test.
This test will be the opposite of the first test, you’ll be sending an email to the Heyday platform instead.
In your personal or business email inbox, create an email and address it to the Heyday Email address we’ve provided you. Again, feel free to play around with some of the messaging settings for the test (signature, bold, italic, links, etc)
Check the Heyday Inbox to confirm it was received. If the email appears in the conversation as it was sent, you’ve successfully completed testing of your email channel.
If either of the two tests does not work successfully, please contact your Enterprise Services Manager or to investigate what the cause might be.
